If you haven’t heard of Viktor Belmont yet, that’s almost a mystery to us. The dreamy, tattooed 25-year-old has been giving the internet a hard-on since July of this year. The trans male escort has been at the top of everyone’s to-do list, even if just in their dreams, since winning Best Newcomer at The Hookies, an award for the male escort industry. We talked to him about how life has been since the honor pushed him into a league of his own. We had to know how work and love are treating him since.

How's business been since you exploded on the internet? You must be busy now!

It’s been great! I'm so supported by my fans and followers – I’m really a lucky boy. I definitely keep myself busy! If I’m not in front of the camera, I'm behind it, or editing content, or working with some awesome Bay Area artists and party folks who make some incredible moments here in the city. It’s a whirlwind, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

Do you have a boyfriend? He must be one lucky guy! 

I don't, actually! I travel so much for work that I get to have unique connections with wonderful people, albeit sometimes at a fever pitch. I really try to meet people where they're at and enjoy my time with them, even if it's limited. 

I'm a very open and non-monogamous person, so most of my relationships are very person-to-person and built off of mutual trust and desire. I'm not for everyone, but I am all about being forward and transparent with my intentions. Every lover I have is important to me and I make space for them in my life. I do have some sweethearts who can make my heart skip a beat in a way that’s pretty exciting! And I get to daydream about going on dates and waiting to be in the same city as them. It makes things even more exciting for me.

Have requests to date you exploded? Are you happy about that?

I'd be lying if I didn't say that it’s pretty wonderful, haha. I'm so happy about it. I'm especially excited about the fact that so many cismen have approached me in a way that’s respectful and forward about wanting to roll around in bed with me. It’s awesome to have a dialogue with folks who have no experience with trans bodies but are respectful of my gender identity. A couple years back I didn't get the same type of treatment, but I think with visibility and conversations around consent and respect it’s made dating as a gay trans man a lot more fun and comfortable. 

It’s really wonderful to be treated well and I don't take it for granted for a second. I'm very lucky and feel very adored. 

You must love what you do; you're so open about it. Did you separate work and life easily or do they blur? Do you work to live, live to work, or a little of both? 

I love what I do. I love meeting new people, I love scratching an itch that makes someone's toes curl. I love burning trails onto someone's skin with my fingertips and lips, sealing in a beautiful memory.  As for separation, I have a lot of different avenues that my life takes me through. Sometimes there’s a crossover. But I always save a little bit of myself just for me, which is my saving grace. 

Every person in my life – client, friend, or lover – holds a space. Their privacy and my relationship with them is special. I live to love, and I'm lucky that my work allows me to do that freely! 

You found us online, so you must like looking at porn. What's your favorite kind of porn? 

I did! I actually saw your Twitter and lurked a gif of two performers for your site, Dwayne & Jo, and it was hot as fuck.

My favorite kind of porn is really... well...

Anything. I'm deeply perverted and I can get off to pretty much anything. I love high budget stuff down to amateur jerk-off videos. I do! I think there's a couple reasons for it. We now have a lot of access to different kinds of tools. With access to technology for many people, the smartphone is a game changer. 

I mean, it’s not porn, but look at the movie Tangerine. That movie was shot on an iPhone. Even just the trailer is incredible! Here’s a movie that’s made entirely on something that you can get access to much easier than a DSLR. That technology is being used in all sorts of ways, including porn. I think there’s a demand for lots of different kinds of porn and erotic film. I think there’s a lot of space for growth. 

I can't wait to see what’s going to be made, and also to make some fun, interesting, different content myself, as well.

Another work question: Do you ever watch your own porn? If so, does it turn you on?

Oh my god. I edit all the content for my newest series, MSTRVKTR. So I see my own porn a lot.

I don't get off that much on my solo stuff, but whenever I see porn that I'm in with other performers, it brings back this wave of emotion for me.
